Each August, as we anticipate the new school year, we choose a sermon series to highlight an aspect of our philosophy of ministry. This year, we will take a look at God’s mission to take the gospel To the Ends of the Earth. We will use Jesus’s description in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” as a paradigm for how we approach our church’s participation and partnerships in missions. As a church, we seek to bless our city through investing and serving locally (our Jerusalem), to support regional and presbytery-wide works (Judea), to collaborate with other believers throughout our nation (Samaria), and to develop a global gospel-consciousness (to the ends of the earth). Please join us as we consider how God is on the move in mission throughout the world.
