Compass is the name of Christ Community’s parent-led discipleship groups for our elementary aged children (K-4th graders). These discipleship groups meet prior to the worship service at Central Methodist, from 3:30-4:30. Compass meets for 10 Sundays each spring, and for 10 Sundays each fall. There are currently two age divisions for Compass: (a) Kindergarten-2nd, and (b) 3rd-4th. A team of dedicated Christ Community adults will be prayerfully discipling each age group and sharing weekly teaching responsibilities.

As you have noticed, CCC employs a two-fold approach to children’s ministry programming: (1) Compass and (2) Children’s Worship. This two-fold approach is very intentional, and both aspects serve an important purpose in the spiritual formation of our children. Compass and C58 allow us to challenge the children of the congregation to dig deeply into the gospel and to explore its implications for their lives. Children’s Worship provides a worship format easily accessible to both members and visitors, and provides on an overview of core biblical truths. The leadership and staff of Christ Community are eager to come alongside you as parents, as you nurture your children and teach them, day in and day out, about the good news of the gospel.
